If you love Big Orange then you're going to love this news! John Beachboard and Scott McGehee owners of Big Orange Burgers. Salads. Shakes. have turned up another new and exciting restaurant concept named Local Lime, to be located at The Promenade at Chenal. Beachboard and McGehee have partnered with Herren Hickingbotham on this new restaurant. Additionally, Chef Ben Brainard, who's worked with Beachboard and McGehee at Boulevard Bread Co. and ZaZa Fine Salad + Wood Fired Pizza Co.
The 3,200 square foot restaurant, will be located just across from the Chenal 9 Theatres with IMAX, and around the corner from The Tavern Sports Grill. A patio covered by a retractable ceiling is planned allowing for some additional seating. The Promenade at Chenal has come to be known as
the patio dining spot in Central Arkansas. Adding to that tradition, customers can appreciate that each of the one-of-a-kind Promenade at Chenal restaurants includes prime patio seating with a front row view of the beautiful gardens and architecture within the Shopping Center.
Local Lime according to McGehee, "Will be one of the best taco and margarita bar restaurants in town". And, based on his recent culinary successes we are on pins and needles awaiting the opening day! So stay tuned!
